Where a feeling becomes a drawing, and the drawing becomes the thing you wear.

Before a piece exists in gold, it exists on paper. This is the room where that happens. No catalogue, no cases of finished work waiting for a buyer. Just the conversation, the drawing, and the bench.

The drawing

Most clients keep theirs.

Every commission begins as a drawing. A line on paper, then a rendering in full detail, every stone and every gram accounted for before a single one is set. It is the first time the idea exists outside your head, and the last moment it can still change.

Every commission begins on paper.

The process

Envision. Make. Place.

Envision

You arrive with a feeling and rarely the words for it. That is normal. The interesting clients almost never know exactly what they want, only that they will recognise it when they see it. So we talk, behind a closed door, until the feeling becomes a sentence and the sentence becomes a sketch.

Make

Then it goes to the bench. Stones matched and set by hand, one at a time. Gold worked until the light moves the way you pictured it. This is the part nobody photographs and everybody feels. It takes [lead time], because the alternative is faster and worse.

Place

When it is ready, you return. The piece is placed upon you by hand, with a ceremony bordering on the absurd. Is it necessary? Not remotely. Do we insist upon it every time? Without exception. You did not come this far to be handed a receipt.

What you commissioned was never just an object. It is the proof you became who you said you would.
